Dr Eleanor Holden is currently sitting her final examinations for the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia. Eleanor graduated from The University of Queensland in 2003 and spent two years in mixed practice. Eleanor then undertook a 2-year rotating internship at the University of Melbourne after which she returned to The University of Queensland as a clinician in anaesthesia. Eleanor then completed her residency in Veterinary anaesthesia in 2015 at Glasgow University and was then appointed as a University Clinician.

Eleanor is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in anaesthesia and critical care. VSS is excited about the prospect of being the first private referral hospital in QLD to have a specialist anaesthetist on staff. We are sure the addition of Eleanor to the VSS family will improve our ability to manage the most difficult of cases.
 

Eleanor is also planning to commence a pain clinic for the management of chronic pain.
