DELEGATE INFORMATION
Welcome to the 2019 VSS Annual Conference: Networking Australia’s Veterinary Industry
The conference will be held at The Pullman Hotel, King Georges Square, Brisbane, QLD from 15th March thru to 17th March 2019. Pre-conference workshops will be held from 12th – 14th March 2019.

Location Map
The Pullman and Mercure Brisbane King George Square is a contemporary 5-star hotel in Brisbane, located in the heart of Brisbane CBD, offering guests a wide range of luxury accommodation options. Guests may select between 210 5-star luxury guestrooms and a Mercure tower with 228 4-star hotel rooms.
Delegate Registration
All delegates are required to register for the conference on arrival at the Conference Registration Desk. The registration desk is located in the Grand Windsor Ballroom Foyer on Level 2.
Please ask Hotel staff for directions and mention you are registering for the VSS Annual Conference.

Conference and Workshop Registration times are as follows:

Friday 15th March: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday 10th March: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Sunday 11th March: 8:30am - 10:00am

Delegates will receive a conference name-tag and conference satchel containing relevant program information and sponsor's marketing materials.
​
Delegates are required to wear their conference name-tag at all times during the conference as this will provide access to lecture streams, trade display and all refreshments.

Poster Sessions
New to the VSS Annual Conference in 2019, the Poster Sessions will provide an opportunity for conference sponsors to deliver a 10-minute, informal presentation to conference delegates. These sessions will be held in the morning/afternoon tea and lunch breaks on each day of the conference.
Poster sessions will be introduced and delivered at the Exhibition Stage where limited seating (and free popcorn) will be provided for delegates. Poster session speakers have been encouraged to deliver entertaining and innovative presentations so we encourage you to support these informative sessions.
Social Evening

Join conference delegates, speakers and sponsors for a relaxed night of drinks, canape's, music and networking. This will be a great chance to re-cap the days events and form new relationships.

Delegates are invited to enjoy drinks and canape's at Pre-Dinner drinks in the Exhibition Area from 6:30pm. Entry is included in your conference registration. Delegates are reminded to wear their name-tag to ensure entry.

Presidential Ballroom | Saturday 16th March | 7:30pm

The Conference Dinner will be an opportunity to celebrate the day while thanking delegates, international speakers, local speakers and support staff for their contribution. Enjoy a 2-course meal, 4-hour drinks package and DJ entertainment. As always, this promises to be a fun night!
Smart-casual dress code

Tickets: The Conference Dinner is included in Full Conference Passes; Clinic Passes and Full Conference Nurse Stream passes.
All other ticket holders are invited to purchase their Conference Dinner ticket separately.
Refreshments
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is provided for all registered delegates and exhibitors. These will all be served in the Trade Hall. Please wear your conference name-tag for access. Coffee and Tea will also be provided in each of the Podium Rooms at the commencement of each day.
Dress Code
The dress code for conference and workshop delegates is Smart Casual. This applies to the lectures, workshops, trade display and all social events.
