Harold Tvedten worked at Michigan State University's Veterinary Clinical Pathology Laboratory from 1975 to 2000. He retired in 2000 from MSU as professor emeritus in Veterinary Pathology. Harold immigrated to Sweden and has worked as a clinical pathologist at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences from 2000 to the present. He is the co-editor of "Small Animal Clinical Diagnosis by Laboratory Methods", the fifth edition of which was published in 2015.

 

Harold is a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists and a “founding father”of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. He has received the Life time achievement award of the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology and American Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology.
